I am a Biologist from the University of Antioquia and obtained my master’s degree there as well. For the past eight years I have worked with aquatic ecosystems in the northern Andes, from fish community ecology to population genetics and phylogeography. As a PhD student at INECOL, I study how morphological and ecological traits of freshwater fish species have influenced their diversification on a global scale.
