Interests: Bats Bioacoustics Macroecology Landscape Ecology Science outreach
I am a biology graduate from the Faculty of Sciences of the Autonomous University of San Luis Potosí and a Master of Science from INECOL. My main interest is the study of bats: their bioacoustics, movement through the landscape, macroecological patterns, and conservation. In my PhD at INECOL, I aim to describe knowledge gaps in bat functional traits and how these gaps affect our understanding of their macroecological patterns and conservation. I am also a strong promoter of science outreach and art as a means of communicating science.
